Mom’s Birthday!

We had a small celebration for Mom’s birthday. In typical Mom style, we avoided too much celebration. For most of the day, we stayed at home. The kids had fun entertaining us.

For lunch, Mom and Dad ate out for a change.

Despite the effort to not do anything too extravagant, we did go ahead with the traditional cake and presents.

To top things off, we spent some time playing games.

Though we spent most of the time at home, hopefully the Mom enjoyed herself. Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you!

7/2/22

There was a little event at the local museum for Independence Day.

We’ve been to this museum before, but there were more activities for the weekend.

Week of 6/26/22 – 7/1/22

The Negotiator is training to beat the Reader in swimming!

The Negotiator and I went for a walk (with Hope).

The Reader and I went for a walk too (with Hope).

We harvest the first squash!

And this was a few weeks ago. The title for this image should be : What Husband brings to the sink after cleaning up his room.

Recently

This is how they ride the scooters.

They started learning tennis. They like it so far!

The Negotiator built a tower of paper cups one day!

The Reader started Cross Country too.

Haircut

Since the Pandemic, Mom has been giving haircuts to the boys. There were a few “oops” moments, but now I am getting used to it (a bit).

Cooking

Cooking has never been my favorite thing to do, but I think I got used to it over the years.

We had “sam-gyup-sal”, which is the Negotiator’s favorite food, out on the porch one day too.
